Lisa Richardson, B.Sc.
Lisa started working for Burleson Equine Hospital 18 years ago, so she is a familiar face in the front office. Lisa has many talents, and has worked as a veterinary assistant in the past, but now her efforts are concentrated on keeping our front office running efficiently and keeping our clients happy. She is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Equine/Animal Science with a minor in business. She is a native of upstate New York and has owned and ridden horses most of her life. She grew up showing horses in English and Western performance events and then starting competing in the rodeo arena in college. Lisa is married and has a 10 year-old horse-crazy daughter, Kylie. They have 3 horses as a family, but since their love of horses extends to all animals, they complete their family with an additional 2 dogs and 3 cats on their mini-ranch in Crowley. Lisa and her family are active in the local 4-H chapter, Youth Athletic Associations, and community charitable events. Horses have been Lisa’s love and passion for many years, and she says that working with the clients, staff, and veterinarians of BEH has been a lifelong dream comes true!
